Legal Mediation & Collaborative Law
We Provide Mediation for Family Law and Civil Matters.
Legal mediation is a way to resolve disputes in a prompt, efficient and cost effective manner. Mediation is a way to approach a dispute from a fresh perspective.
Mediation offers a prompt, efficient, and cost-effective way to resolve disputes. Rather than looking backward to assign fault, mediation focuses on moving forward — helping parties reach agreements that resolve current issues and guide future interactions.

The mediator facilitates understanding between parties, helping them identify needs and interests to find common ground. From there, participants generate options that creatively address those needs. Agreements are reached only when all parties consent. Because mediated agreements are voluntary, they are more likely to be followed by everyone involved.
Zawtocki Law Offices provides experienced mediation services in all family court and civil litigation matters.
Collaborative Law Representation
We Provide Collaborative Law Representation for Family Law Matters.
Zawtocki Law offers collaborative law representation in family law cases in accordance with Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure, Rule 67.1. In the collaborative process, both parties commit not to go to court, focusing instead on identifying solutions that reflect the priorities of the adults and the children involved.
This team-based model includes a lawyer for each party and a mental health professional. Depending on the needs of the case, the team may also include financial, real estate, or child specialists — all trained in collaborative practice methods. Together, the parties and professionals work through open communication to reach agreements that meet the needs of the family while maintaining control of the process.
