Richard Zawtocki

Rich Zawtocki has practiced law continually in Arizona since 1985. He currently owns Zawtocki Law Offices, P.L.L.C., which he established with his wife and law partner Marie Splees Zawtocki.

Rich focuses on all aspects of personal injury law, including motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, slip and falls, injuries occurring at a business or residential property, and wrongful death claims. Rich also does general civil litigation cases, including contract issues.

Through his career Rich has represented thousands of clients, both through the litigation process and through negotiations. He can also serve as a mediator. He enjoys meeting with and helping people.

Rich is an active member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar and the MCBA Lawyer Referral Program.

Rich graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law with honors in 1985. He received his undergraduate degree in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame with high honors in 1980. In law school he clerked for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Upon arriving in Arizona, he worked for other law firms prior to establishing Zawtocki Law Offices with his wife.

Rich resides in the East Valley with his wife and near his children and grandchildren. He was elected to two four year terms as a member of the Kyrene School District Governing Board. He just completed five years on the Advisory Board at Seton Catholic Preparatory High School and was recently voted onto the Board of Trustees at the School.

Rich is active in community service organizations and has current and past affiliations and service with Valley Big Brother/Big Sisters, the American Heart Association, Seton Catholic Preparatory High School, St. Benedict’s Parish, Kyrene School District, and the Special Olympics. Rich has served as a volunteer coach for youth baseball and basketball teams for his children and helping out with the grandkids’ sports. He is an advocate for education of all children in our community.
